More fibbing from the McCain camp

That “FBI background check” on Palin that Rick Davis mentioned to the WaPo? Entirely fictitious.

Rick Davis told Balz and Barnes that the vetting of Palin included “an FBI background check.”

The FBI says, “Bullsh!t”

Now the only question is whether Balz and Barnes minded being lied to.

Could McCain have possibly done a sloppier job of this?
