The Volokh Conspirators once boasted of having been hit by a Google search for “Kazakh girls nude.” Pretty impressive, you’ll agree. [Here’s the explanation.]

However, we have a new champion. This humble site was hit by a search for the following string:

“Harry Potter” communist philosophy Malfoy

Turns out I had mentioned Harry Potter and Malfoy in one post, and asked in another whether it wasn’t awful to falsely call someone a Communist. Voila! So I may not be a Kazakh porn baron, but at least I’m a totally humorless fundamentalist lunatic. If you don’t believe me, Google that string yourself and see what else comes up.

Of course, the Volokhs still have page-rank bragging rights, with a seven to my six. But I claim the weird-Google trophy.

[Speaking of page ranks, have I mentioned recently how grateful I am to all the folks who linked to me? If you have, and I haven’t reciprocated, let me know.]

  1. The site's very professional! Keep up the good work! Oh yes, one extra comment – make sure the pages are not too long, keep scrolling a minimum. And maybe you could add more pictures too! So :-)) good luck to your team! ,
