A Conversation About Heroin and Pharmaceutical Opioid Addiction

I did Michael Krasny’s KQED Forum this morning with Tracey Helton and Sam Quinones. The topic was opioid addiction and overdose. There was an avalanche of calls, tweets and emails as there are every time I do media on this topic. This tells me an enormous number of people are hurting, probably far more than our official statistics reveal.

Keith Humphreys is the Esther Ting Memorial Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University and an Honorary Professor of Psychiatry at Kings College Lonon.
