  1. The thing about legal MJ reducing opioid deaths is fascinating. How strong is that result? I’m vaguely aware that eye-popping study results often get scaled back or abandoned outright when later teams take a harder look. Broadly, is this one of those early surprising results that’s likely to be significantly walked back?

    Supposing that it’s true, do we have any good ideas about the likely mechanism(s)?

    1. There’s a nice Twitter thread by @chelsealshover explaining why that study is not accurate – key thing is they threw out almost half the states before running their model.
