Iraqi Interior Ministry to investigate Shi'a death squads

It's not news that Shi'a death squads were operating out of the Iraqi security forces. We knew that. It is news that the Deputy Interior Minister has announced an investigation. Yes, it took U.S. pressure to make it happen. But it's happening. No one will mistake me for an optimist on matters Iraqi, but this is definitely good news, as well as evidence that continued U.S. presence there has an upside along with its obvious downsides.
