Am I missing something here? The federal preparation for and response to Katrina have been universally adjudged a complete trainwreck of no planning, no execution, incompetence, venality, and inaction. Isn't that what an executive wants to be uninvolved with — never met the guy, who me, not my job, other priorities, would have handled it completely differently, wipe my fingerprints stat...? Did Townsend come from some sort of horse show outfit? And has she just forgotten how to shovel?
I know life imitates art, but why is the model always the Marx Brothers?
