Is CDS contagious?

Since I'm fully aware of my inability to be fair to Hillary Clinton, I'm glad to have whatever external validation I can get. Kevin Drum has been, on balance, pro-Clinton. Until now.
I now expect that the Clinton machine, having done the dirty work, will back off for a while. And I hope that, if Obama gets the nomination, not too much of the slime will stick, and that if HRC gets the nomination most of the people grossed out by her campaign so far will forgive, if not forget.
