A Conservative Newspaper for Obama

The San Joaquin Record has endorsed its first Democrat for President since 1936.
The logic? Obama will change our politics and John McCain won't. Obama can inspire and McCain can't. McCain's most troubling trait is his judgment, as indicated by his choice of Sarah Palin. "The nation cannot go through four more years of literally and figuratively shooting now and asking questions later." Republican charges that Obama is an elitist and an empty suit are risible.
