Birds in flight are tough.
The last one was fine. This one is OK. The breast is too dark, but you might try fixing that in Lightroom or Camera Raw with the shadows slider.
Given the frequent bright sky background I think you should be spot metering, if you are not doing it already.
Another useful feature some cameras have is a focus mode that just focuses on the nearest thing. That's likely to be the bird.
