Mark’s recent endorsement of nudges nudged me to post this.Â Â You will see that Richard Thaler will be the next President of the AEA. Â Economists are a diverse group and I hope and expect that Dr. Thaler will win a Nobel Prize in the near future. Â The University of Chicago is a “big tent” for various ideas and intellectual competition thrives there. Â In posting this, I want you to look at the race for the Executive Committee. Â My favorite UCLA professor is one of the candidates. Â While I don’t know how many voting economists read the RBC, I hope you will consider voting for her.
