Growing up, I always hated the Dallas Cowboys, but always respected their coach, Tom Landry. When it was becoming popular in the NFL for players to enact elaborate dances when scoring a touchdown, Landry had the best response:
When you get to the end zone, act like you’ve been there before.
Thus it is with LeBron James and those making plans for the Miami Dynasty. The inverse of Landry’s dictum is well put:
If you haven’t gotten to the end zone, don’t act like you’re already there.
