A reader disagrees with my proposed “Promise Breakers” label for straying Promise Keepers members such as Sen. Ensign. He suggests “Promise Fakers” instead.
Or, given their hyper-religiosity, we might just call them “the crossed-fingers crowd.” As R. Joshua might have said (Luke 11:39), they have their mouths full of piety and their hearts (and other bodily parts) full of adultery. Feh.
