I guess we need a really broad amendment, forbidding EPA to spend any funds finding or disseminating results tending to undermine public confidence that everything is for the best in the best of all possible worlds. This is the kind of trouble you get from people who are confused about “reducing global warming” versus “passing a bill politicians can say will reduce global warming”.
