Republican prosecutor in Ohio says there was evidence of massive voter fraud, refers the case to a Republican special prosecutor who used to work for him. Special prosecutor checks 600 accusations, finds one actual case.

Republican prosecutor isn’t even embarrassed. I predict that the Wall Street Journal editorial page, NRO, and Glenn Reynolds won’t deign to mention this, and just keep chanting “ACORN! ACORN! ACORN” and go on to the next b.s. accusation.

Update Steve Benen picks up an aspect of the story I’d missed: the prosecutor who screamed “fraud!” and ordered the investigation was the regional chair of the McCain-Palin campaign.
