Sen. Cornyn is holding up Eric Holder’s confirmation as Attorney General until holder promises not to prosecute torturers. Isn’t that skating mighty close to the line where legislative oversight becomes obstruction of justice?

Am I missing something or did Obama count wrong when he said “44 Americans have now taken the Presidential Oath”?
(Grover Cleveland is conventionally counted as the 22nd and 24th presidents, which makes Obama the 44th)
Update: The Obama team supposedly has defended the inaccuracy as being less confusing than the truth… Not my idea of the level of respect for data we should expect from the new administration.
