Now that the discussion has started about the African-American vote for Proposition 8, let’s just ask this question.
Rep. John Lewis is one of the true heroes of the civil rights movement and also a strong supporter of gay rights. Why wasn’t he in a Black church in California every Sunday during the last month of this campaign, making the pitch to African-American voters?
Answer that question and it might tell you something.
