Commenter GREAT newsinOH over at Fivethirtyeight makes an outstanding point:

In Hebrew, “Rahm” means thunder, and “Barack” means lightning.

Strictly speaking, of course, “Barack” is in Swahili, and is derived originally from the Hebrew “Baruch,” which means “blessed.” But in terms of getting an agenda through, I’ll take the lightning.
