Biden comes out for making no legal distinction between same-sex and opposite-sex couples. Palin says not if it leads to the redefinition of marriage. Says she’s tolerant. Biden goes further: says that the state shouldn’t define marriage at all; it’s up to “the faiths” what they want to call different couplings. Amazing!
Palin dodges a little bit, but it seems they agree on civil equality. Astounding!
Is the Christian Right so devoted to “Our Sarah” that they’ll put up with this?
