I haven’t seen it yet; the West Coast schedule is different.
The talking heads on CNN are “gushing” (Gergen’s word). Gergen made one interesting point: McCain isn’t mentioned.
Reminds me of a story JFK tells about Thomas Hart Benton in Profiles in Courage. One of Benton’s political opponents threatened to write “a little book, in which the behavior of Sen. Benton will figure prominently.” Benton replied by promising to write a large book, in which his opponent would not figure at all.
Update Saw it. Home run. He should smile more, but other than that I wouldn’t change much.
