With fewer than ten days to go until the election, John McCain is another day older and deeper in the polls.
Any day in which John McCain doesn’t close a full percentage point of the gap is a lost day for him. And it’s hard to see how he makes any significant news, especially if he can’t get any more coherent than he was on Meet the Press. Not a good hand to have to play.
From the good-guy side, this is our best chance for a blow-out since Goldwater-Johnson. Let’s not waste it.
