Somebody ought to take Ross Douthat aside and explain to him the two basic principles of blogging ethics:
1. Never diss your side’s nominee, no matter how big a turkey she turns out to be. Especially not this close to an election.
2. Never admit you were wrong about anything.
Really, if he’s going to go all honest on us, it’s going to make the rest of the bloggers look not only fallible but hackish. Bad for business.
