Among the tactical deficiencies of the Blue Team, failure to rub an opponent’s nose in a mistake is prominent. Instead of sitting back and enjoying McCain’s backtrack on tire pressure, we should keep hammering. Andrew Sullivan quotes a fine idea from a WaPo reader:
Free advice: The Obama Camp should totally co-opt the GOP’s silly tire gauge thing. They should start giving out tire gauges with the Obama logo on them. They should thank them for the idea. They should promote it as a wonderful post-partisan effort to reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil.
