Marc Ambinder reports that the Obama campaign has “as many as three dozen” superdelegates ready to announce after the June 3 primaries.
The campaign is determined that Obama not end the first week in June without securing the support of delegates numbering 2026 — or 2210, as the case may be.
So far, the Obama folks haven’t been doing much number-spinning. So I’m inclined to believe this.
