If you’re an old 72 and running for President, you probably don’t want to raise the age issue. But John McCain has apparently decided that referring to the 46-year-old Barack Obama as a “young man” is a smart tactic. I doubt it.
One of the NYT commenters has the right response: “Grandpa is cranky!”
