The Clinton campaign claims to have picked up 50,000 new donors since winning Pennsylvania. Pretty impressive.

But last night when I checked the Obama website to see how he was doing on his goal of 1.5 million donors by May 6, his count was at 1,360,000. (I recall thinking he needed about 10,000 new donors a day to hit his goal.)

Right now, that number is 1,425,000.

Which side would you rather be on: the one that adds 50,000 new donors in the 24 hours after a victory, or the one that adds 65,000 new donors in the 24 hours after a defeat?

Update (10pm PDT): Now 1,435,000.
