Atrios nails it:

Why Bill Clinton’s past infidelity is more relevant to his wife’s candidacy than Rudy Giuliani’s own infidelity is to his own candidacy is an exercise left to the reader.

I can think of several dozen reasons not to nominate or elect Hillary Clinton as President, but her husband’s zipper problem is not among them.

Footnote We have poll reports that:

* More than a quarter of voters would regard a candidate’s having been married three times as a reason not to vote for him for President. (Presumably having moved a paramour into City Hall, displacing a wife, would be worse.as a reason not to disqualification for the Presidency. I haven’t seen the cross-tabs, but I’d assume those concerns are concentrated among voters who describe themselves as “evangelical.”

* Giuliani is stomping McCain, largely because of his lead among evangelicals.

That raises an obvious question that I haven’t seen any polling on: What fraction of the voters, and in particular of white evangelicals, are aware of Giuliani’s … ummmm … difficulty in remembering his wedding vows?
