Mike Huckabee, the potential movement-conservative darling for 2008, just recruited Congress’s porkmeister-in-chief, Don Young of Alaska, father of the Bridge to Nowhere, as the Congressional chair of his exploratory committee. I’ll be interested in hearing what the rabid GOP partisans who call themselves Porkbusters think of that. And will any reporter dare ask Huckabee whether he agrees with Young that Abraham Lincoln deserved to be hanged?
