He’s up by 3000 votes (.75%) with 99% of the precincts already counted. All that’s left are the provisional ballots, and there’s no reason to think they’ll swing Republican. The Burns campaign seems to be in hiding.
Update CNN calls it for Tester: he’s still 3000 up, with only 1500 left to count.
With Webb still head by 7000+, I think it’s time to get some champagne on ice.
If we really take both chambers, a good first bill to pass would be a massive earmark-repeal bill. Let Bush use his second veto on that one.
