Isn’t the hallmark of conservatism controlled spending? I suppose that should be changed to looting the treasury for your friends? No oversight what-so-ever, that is absurd. Lets make the “new” Iraq economic policy that of blank checks. Sheesh.
Nature imitating art: the paper national edition this morning did in fact put a cut from the kidnapped GI story on the front page with the feckless contractor story. I obviously have awesome paranormal powers that I will now turn to the service of mankind. This is the kind of thing that shouldn’t be wasted on trivial stuff, so I’m turning directly to bending a spoon and moving my cereal bowl across the table without touching them.
