The New York Times web page is usually a carefully crafted product with few errors, but this morning the pictures for the story about looting the Iraq reconstruction enterprise were carelessly attached to this story instead of this one.

Isn’t the hallmark of conservatism controlled spending? I suppose that should be changed to looting the treasury for your friends? No oversight what-so-ever, that is absurd. Lets make the “new” Iraq economic policy that of blank checks. Sheesh.

Nature imitating art: the paper national edition this morning did in fact put a cut from the kidnapped GI story on the front page with the feckless contractor story. I obviously have awesome paranormal powers that I will now turn to the service of mankind. This is the kind of thing that shouldn’t be wasted on trivial stuff, so I’m turning directly to bending a spoon and moving my cereal bowl across the table without touching them. Then I’m going after James Randi’s million, hoo hah.
