If you asked all Americans, &quot;Should the president lie in order to defend the country?&quot;  I think the vast majority would say yes.
I don&#039;t think this will change the mind of anyone who still thinks for whatever reason that &quot;defending the country&quot; required the invasion of Iraq.

As much as I doubted it would happen, Bush may fall further in the polls.
