In my post on the Iran problem, I carelessly stated that Iran had, and Iraq did not have, links to international terrorist groups. While it’s true that Iraq seems to have had no ties to al-Qaeda, in fact the Ba’athist regime supported terrorist activity inside Iran, Kurdish terrorism aimed at Turkey, and various forms of Palestinian terrorism aimed at Israel. A Council on Foreign Relations summary lays out the facts.

My thanks to the reader who brought this mistake to my attention.
