Sid Rose, who identifies himself as a “traditional conservative,” is so outraged by Republican demagogy on the Schiavo affair that he has been driven to blogging.
He writes:
I think it is unconscionable–and un-Christian–that our side accuses Michael Schiavo of spouse abuse and worse.
Clearly he believes he is doing what Terri wants,
since it would have been so much easier for him to
walk away. “Thou shalt not bear false witness” is
just as much a commandment as “Thou shalt not kill.”
Amen to that, brother.
