Of course Sebastian Holsclaw is right in his comment about torture-by-proxy, AKA “extraordinary rendition”:
President Bush must be shown that the Republican Party is not willing to stand for the perversion of our moral standards.
But how can he be shown that when it is demonstrably not true? The contemporary Republican party is so willing to stand for the perversion of our moral standards that it might justly be said to stand for nothing else.
