I have no objection to giving Sinclair Broadcasting a hard time about putting a dishonest anti-Kerry piece — made by a former Homeland Security flack who wrote a book about how the Rev. Sun Myung Moon had been persecuted — on the air as “news” a few days before the election. It’s clearly an abuse of their broadcast licences. If a boycott can stop them, or at least damage them, great!

But my inner ACLU member is telling me “The remedy for bad speech is more speech.” Wouldn’t it be nice if we could find some remnant of the alleged liberal media to put on, say, Going Upriver in the same media markets where Sinclair is broadcasting its filth?

Or, faling that, how about ponying up a few bucks to get this ad on the air?
