Ruy Teixeira, who has both a more expert an a more dispassionate view than I do, thinks that Clark’s tax program is good politics, and that Dean’s isn’t.

I note that Jane Galt is concerned that Clark’s plan doesn’t add up: that is, that it actually includes more tax cuts than tax increases, thus failing its intention to be revenue-neutral. The Wall Street Journal, in an editorial today, calls it “a huge tax increase.”

At most one of those criticisms is correct.
