Glenn Reynolds thinks there may be significant numbers of voters out there (1) prosperous enough to have benefited substantially from the Bush tax cuts and (2) too short-sighted to figure out that deficits are just postponed taxes, with interest.

He’s probably right.

Bush and Rove were, and are, counting on it.
