No one told the White House that the Pentagon was going to announce that French, Russian, and German firms were blacklisted from bidding on reconstruction work in Iraq the same day the President called Chirac, Putin, and Schroeder to ask them for help in rescheduling Iraqi debt? Or that, just to add insult to injury, the excuse was going to be “security”?
Who put these $%$#^ bush-leaguers in charge? (Oh, yeah: I suppose that question answers itself, with a simple change of case.)
Heads really ought to roll over this one. Or Bush should just hire Ted Mack as chief of staff and admit that he’s running the original amateur hour.
Update: Has it occurred to anyone that perhaps Bush is such a miserable failure due to his astounding incompetence?
