Steven Bainbridge replies here to an earlier post that criticized his views on the Cardinal Martino affair.
Bainbridge and I had a brief email exchange, but I missed one of his messages (thank you, spammers) so I was negligent twice, first in not responding to him and then in not linking to his response when I did a follow-up post. As he says, you can judge for yourself who had the better of the exchange.
