Here’s a good one from Paul Bremer, picked up by a conservative Christian friend:

The U.S. administrator in Iraq, Paul Bremer, on Monday described former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein as a “voice from the wilderness”

Well, it’s not a precise quotation, but Bremer probably didn’t mean to get as close as he did to comparing SH to John the Baptist or the Prophet Isaiah.

And of course that leaves the question whom, or what, Saddam Hussein might be preparing the way of.
