Proud Blogistan has spoken wih one voice, and gestured with one finger, about the outrageous attempt by Donald Luskin to intimidate Atrios. Andrew Sullivan even paused in his own Krugman-baiting to say: “Puh-lease. Lay off.”
And what does Poor and Stupid have to say about all this? Nothing. No explanation, no defense, no restraction, no apology: not even a routine “On instructions from my lawyer I’m not going to say anything about this.” Just silence. That seems strange, doesn’t it?
“Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?”
“To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.”
“The dog did nothing in the night-time.”
“That was the curious incident.”

Joking aside, it’s highly gratifying, and not a little surprising, to see that not a single blogger has ventured to defend Luskin, and that many who strongly disagree with Atrios have rushed to defend freedom of the cyberpress/
