A reader corrects my pidgin Arabic: ibn (“son of”) is part of a patronymic; the plural banu is the correct form for clan membership. So “the ibn Saud” would refer to the sons of someone named Saud. The family that rules the kingdom that pays for the terrorists are properly “the Banu Saud,” and their Texan vassals are “the Banu Bush.”
